Participate in an Alzheimer's Association event to raise money and awareness in the battle against Alzheimer's disease.

Alzheimer's Association Memory Walk®
The Alzheimer's Association Memory Walk® is the nation's largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer care, support and research.
When: Walks take place throughout the year, primarily in the fall
Where: In communities nationwide

Rita Hayworth Galas
Held in New York City, Dallas and Chicago, these annual galas are major fundraising events honoring legendary film star Rita Hayworth, who died from the disease in 1987.

The National Alzheimer's Gala
Held in Washington, D.C., this annual gala raises funds for Alzheimer research and support programs.

Where: National Building Museum, Washington, D.C.

Great Mountain Bike Divide
Alzheimer's Association supporter Joshua Elder is participating in the Great Mountain Bike Divide to help raise funds and awareness of   Alzheimer's disease. The bike tour is a 2,400 mile trek from Canada to Mexico. Help his fundraising efforts by making a donation

Golfers and those who love the game can help raise funds and awareness for Alzheimer's disease.

Host your own event
Turn a birthday party, sports event or any other event you can dream up into an opportunity to help raise awareness and funds for the Alzheimer cause.

Conferences

Our conferences bring together leaders in Alzheimer research, care and advocacy. Exhibitor and sponsorship opportunities are available for each conference. 

Public Policy Forum
Alzheimer advocates from across the country gather at the Forum to learn about key policy priorities and meet with Members of Congress to discuss Alzheimer issues.

ICAD
Alzheimer's Association International Conference on Alzheimer's Disease (ICAD) brings together the top dementia researchers every  year to engage in a multidisciplinary international exchange of ideas.
When: July 11-16, 2009
Where: Vienna, Austria, Messe Wien Exhibition and Congress Center

Local Alzheimer's Association chapters schedule thousands of education, support and fundraising programs nationwide. To learn about events in your area, check with your local chapter.

Camp Buliding Bridges
A respite camp for kids and young teens age 13-16 who are caregivers for their parents and/or grandparents. The camp teaches participants about dementia, its impact on their families and how to form peer support groups.
